Philly Culture Fest

Philly Culture Fest was a celebration for Philadelphia’s Black and Brown creators and entrepreneurs to express their love for their culture. This event was put together by an organization called Kabila Events. I was hired to capture photo content for 3 of their events, Philly Culture Fest being the 1st.

My job was to help set the venue up and photograph unforgettable moments for their social media page. Photo content and Event planning are roles that heavily align with my dream career.

Event planning has always been exciting to me, although it comes with a lot moving parts to get things in place it’s amazing to see how events bring people together in such a beautiful way and to capture these moments is a cinematic experience.

Red Velvet Holiday Speakeasy

The Red Velvet Event was a holiday speakeasy experience where people could come enjoy specialty cocktails, musical entertainment, and delicious appetizers. This event was all about creating an intimate space for people to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season.

This event was also organized by Kabila Events, an organization I’ve worked with on multiple occasions, I was hired to capture video and photo content. My photos were used for promotional purposes on their website and their Instagram page, these are some of the photos I edited and took during the event.

This event was dedicated to showcasing Black and Brown talent within the West Philadelphia area. Musicians, Comedians, Singers, Poets and local creators were invited to come out and show off their talent to the community.

Cherry Street Pier Art Market

The Cherry Street Pier Art Market was a space for local artist to showcase and sell their work to public. I was one of the Visual Artist(s) that was selected to sell my work for the even.
